Welcome to the Food Safety Centers of Excellence (CoE) regional network. Our five centers – Colorado, Minnesota, New York, Tennessee, and Washington – serve as regional hubs for food safety expertise and resources. Established under the Food Safety Modernization Act in 2012 (link to FSMA), we partner with academic institutions to strengthen foodborne illness surveillance and outbreak response across the United States.
